BROADBENT DANUBE, LOWER AUSTRIA

The winemaker is Markus Huber. The vineyards south of the Danube, which are located in the lower lands regions, have more loess soil. This is the only Austrian region where Grüner Veltliner and Riesling are grown on limestone. The vineyards are on a slope running North to South and are either East facing or South East facing.

The Broadbent name has been synonymous with fine wine for more than four decades, beginning with the renowned career of British wine critic, writer and auctioneer Michael Broadbent and continuing with his son, the importer Bartholomew Broadbent. Bartholomew Broadbent has partnered with family-owned wineries around the globe to produce wines rich with the essence of place and tradition. Broadbent wines represent authentic character and infinite pleasure.
