Vignoble Mingot was founded in 1964 by Raymond Mingot, on the right bank of Bordeaux, just north of Pomerol. Now headed by third-generation Bordeaux vigneron, Juliene Mingot. They are situated at the historic Chateau Marechaux, on the right bank of Bordeaux in the area of Savignac-de-l’Isle, just north of Pomerol, where they farm approximately 52 acres, predominantly Merlot. They recently included Chateau La Pensee in the fold, and also make an experimental range of lo-fi, low sulphur wines under the Pur label.
