Michel Thibaut, a winegrower in the Jura region since 1989, developed his own winery with his wife Catherine in 2014. Before that, Michel traveled to several wine-growing regions, where he acquired his expertise. South of Arbois on the Jura Wine Route lies Poligny, a small, characterful town in the Franche-Comté region, surrounded on both sides by vineyards in the Côtes du Jura appellation. The vines are managed as environmentally friendly as possible, with grass cover, tillage and careful use of inputs and tractors to produce quality grapes. Michel develops his range of Jura wines by adopting traditional winemaking methods combined with the latest technologies. The wines of Domaine Michel Thibaut have been produced with the same philosophy for over twenty-five years, the goal being to obtain Côtes du Jura wines that are rich in flavor and accessible. Catherine and Michel work with passion and traditional know-how to offer you quality wines that respect the Jura terroir.
