SANTA INÉS CHILE
Santa Inés is the beautiful domain of the De Martino family. In 1934, Italian immigrant Don Pietro De Martino began a modest winery, which is currently succeeded by the third and fourth generation De Martino and regarded as one of the top wineries in the world. Today, the winery has vineyards in the valleys of Maipo, Casablanca and Choapa, which gives the winemakers the opportunity to focus all the different terroirs and make wines with freshness, elegance and complexity. Owned by the De Martino Family, Santa Ines takes pride in combining modern winemaking techniques with their great respect for nature, which is expressed in the organic management of the vineyards. Its wines combine New World fruit and Old World elegance. Natural and fresh, concentrated and expressive, they are the best reflection of each grape variety in Chilean soil. Chile is a paradise for wine makers. This vast country has an ideal climate, the soil is alluvial and the sunlight is clear. Irrigation takes place with the fresh and pure melting water from the Andes Mountains. Thanks to its proximity to the Pacific, the vineyards receive fresh sea air that provides cooling during the night and the mornings which ensures the preservation of the aromas and the fresh acids in the grapes. Since 1934 the family has been committed to creating wines of great personality and elegance coming from prestigious terruños throughout Chile.
