Beaumont is a charming family-run farm and winery situated in the quaint Overberg Village of the Bot River ward, Walker Bay Region, South Africa. The farm is home to the region’s oldest wine cellar and is steeped in history dating back to the 1700’s. The farm was purchased by the Beaumont Family in 1974. In 1994 Jayne Beaumont produced the first wine under the Beaumont label. In 2004, Sebastian Beaumont, having honed his skills working in the vineyards, took over the reins in the cellar and has continued to build the Beaumont reputation. The property is 1,200 acres with 74 acres of vines, 15 acres pears and 7 almonds and a few olive trees.
