CHÂTEAU BEL AIR BORDEAUX, FRANCE

Château Bel Air is located in the village of Tizac de Curton, in the Gironde department in Nouvelle-Aquitaine in southwestern France. There are 62 acres of vineyards on rocky slopes and plateau. The soil is calcareous clay. Traditional vinification in stainless steel vats with traditional cold maceration. Aging in cement vats. Maceration after fermentation under pomace. Daily pumping-over. The estate has belonged to the Ferrand family since 1930. The grandson Christian Ferrand, took over the estate in his name in 1991.
