The Bessettes have been established for several generations in Landerrouat, where they acquired Château La Verrière, created in 1900 on the borders of Lot-et-Garonne. Restructured in the 1960s by André Bessette, relayed from 1999 by his son Alain, the winery has established itself as a benchmark in regional appellations.
