DOMAINES DEVILLARD BOURGOGNE, FRANCE
Brother and sister Amaury and Aurore Devillard represent the 5th generation of this historical Burgundian family. The Devillard’s roots started in Mercurey in the XIIth century. However, their first estate label – Château de Chamirey – was not bottled until 1934. Beyond Mercurey, the Devillards have domaines in Nuits-Saint-Georges, Givry, Mâcon, and Pouilly-Fuissé. With over fifty percent of their vineyards designated as Premier Cru, and quite a few Grand Crus, the Devillards understand the importance of price to quality ratio; their wines are accessible to everyone. Each domaine is located in the premier location for the healthiest grapes possible. Most of Burgundy is a combination of Jurassic era limestone and marl, the density of each depends on exact vineyard site and aspect. All wine growing is done sustainably with green harvesting, and Guyot pruning system to control yields.
DOMAINE DE LA FERTÉ
The abbey after which Domaine de la Ferté was named was founded in 1113 under the Cistercian Order, and the monks living there soon began to plant vines in Givry. The Thenard family acquired the abbey in 1793 and had the great fortune to become proprietors of part of the vineyards owned by the abbey, which was passed down in their family. The land of Givry has a reputation dating back to antiquity for producing the highest quality wines, with its southeastern and southern exposed slopes and its soil of clay and limestone. This estate spreads over 12.5 acres, exclusively Pinot Noir planted, and produces Givry and Givry Premier Cru. These 50 years old vineyards offer stylish and powerful wines.

The estate consists of 91 acres (37 of which are Premier Cru) reflecting the diverse soils and micro climates found within the Mercurey appellation.

DOMAINE DES PERDRIX
Le Domaine des Perdrix was not a renowned estate until the Devillard family (who have worked in wine for 5 generations) took its management in 1996. Bertrand & Christiane Devillard and their children Amaury & Aurore manage the Domaine. Robert Parker says about this acquisition that it proves the existence of undiscovered great quality terroirs among the Grands Terroirs of Côte de Nuits. Most of the domaine’s production was first sold to a trade firm, with the result that the Domaine was not well-known. All vineyards were in perfect condition and the Devillard family have made high investments in the Cuverie. The domaine extends over 30 acres in the great terroirs of: Vosne-Romanée, Nuits-Saint-Georges, Nuits- Saint Georges Premier Cru “Aux perdrix” (which is owned in quasi monopoly, as the Doamine owns 99% of this great vineyard) and Echézeaux Grand Cru (situated in “Echézeaux du dessus”, right in the centre of this prestigious vineyard). More than half of their vineyards are Premiers Crus and Grand Crus.

DOMAINE DE LA GARENNE
Situated in the heart of Mâconnais on a southeast exposed hillside, the Domaine de la Garenne overlooks the village of Azé and spreads over 20 acres, all Chardonnay planted. The Domaine was bought in 2008, and is currently supervised by Enrico Peyron, the technical advisor of Domaines Devillard.
